He was the first physician in the Town of Lexington.

married Elizabeth Stone, daughter of Jonas, July 31, 1794
He studied medicine with his father and Dr. John Warren
He lived at 63 Hancock Street.
He was a doctor from 1733 to 1837, and a member of Captain Parker's company.
He helped his father care for the wounded April 19, 1775, and later joined
the Continental Army as a Second Lieutenant.
