Lexington is a member district of Empowering Multicultural Initatives, a non-profit organization committed to establishing anti-racist practices through workshops and training programs.
Events & Speakers
PATHS (Parents and Teachers for Hamrony in the Schools) and the Lexington Coalition for Racial Equality is sponsoring the Twelfth Annual Unity Walk and Commemoratin to honor Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. on Sudany, January 18, 2004. The walk begins at 2 p.m. on the Lexington Green. The program begins at 2:15 at the First Baptist Church. Beverly Morgan-Welch will give the keynote address.
