The Hastings PTA has agreed to match the dollar amount of any books donated to the library or classrooms during the Book Fair and will donate these funds directly to the library in China.

Grade 1/2 teacher Barbara Lockwood, festively dressed in the colors of an Irish flag,
tells the children about her upcoming trip to China.
During April, she will be part of a delegation of educators traveling to China.
The visit includes a trip to a village that is raising funds for a library.
As a gift to the village, the delegation will be making a donation for the library.
