On this first Friday of the school year, principal Rick Rogers addressed the students with important things to know about All School Meeting. Over seventy new kindergartners and forty other new students were welcomed to the school. Thank yous were extended to our custodians Mr. Ferranti, Mr. Miles and Mr. Welch for taking such good care of our beautiful school. |
| Music teacher Ms. London lead the school in singing "America the Beautiful". She also introduced a new song, "It's So Nice to Be Here with People I Like". |  |

This third grader had quite an event to share. Her grandfather, Irwin Shanes, previously a principal in New York City, donated an American flag to our school. The flag, which was flown over the Capitol of the United States, was given to him in celebration of his seventieth birthday. Thank you, Mr. Shanes! |
