Dear Nintendo,

I think that it is not fair that the Negro Leagues aren't in video games very often, and today players are. Even though I am white I still don't think the Negro Leagues should be discluded. I can only name three video games that includes Negro Leagues. The only difference between Negro Leagues and some of today's players are their skin color. You should include more Negro League players in your next baseball video game because it will make blacks feel good. It will let them know you care about them. You would be fair.

If you were a Negro player and you weren't included in a video just because of your skin color, how would you feel? Probably not too good. People of different races even if they aren't baseball players they should be treated equally. Sometimes it happens blacks do not get treated equally. You could be the ones to change that in video games. Just think.

Did you know that some Negro League players back then were better than Ted Williams, Roger Clements and all of those good players? Well they were. Negro Leagues were a very important part of history. Maybe you could include Jackie Robinson, Josh Gibson, Hank Aaron, Cool Papa Bell, Buck O'Neil, Satchel Paige or Rube Foster in your next baseball game.

Now segragation is gone and we don't want to start it up again. I have never played a video game (I want to) but most of my friends have. They say it feels likes something comes alive. It would be cool if the Negro League came alive. It would be fun if you could play against Honus Wagner, Cool Papa Bell, Josh Gibson, Hank Aaron or even Jackie Robinson. Maybe you could make a video game just about the Negro Leagues.

If you put black players in your video games it will help kids understand history and then parents would want to buy it. Plus it will be the most fun video game and a best seller. Even I (who has never played a video game) will want to buy it.

Please respond back and give me feed back. Hope you make a video game on the Negro Leagues.

Sincerely,
Rachel
