Having Fun!

Ten minutes, twenty minutes, a half hour, forty-five minutes. I am sitting on this bus, waiting to get to “Sargent Camp.” I can’t wait, my heart is pounding. I am sitting next to my friend Jordan. We are talking about strange things and playing pencil games in a workbook that I brought with me. Finally, after about an hour and forty-five minutes we arrived at “Sargent Camp!” “Yeah!” Everyone shouts and screams as if they all just won a million dollars. We all load out of the busses, find our bags and find out what cabin we are staying in. The fun begins...

The point of “Sargent Camp” is to have a lot of fun. If you don’t have any fun, there’s no point of going! Having fun means; always having a smile on your face, having fun while playing, talking, and communicating with other kids and teachers, and just having fun while you are there at “Sargent Camp” with your class for the weekend. I think, that the point of “Sargent Camp” is to go there and have as much fun with your friends and teachers as possible!!

You can’t learn if you are not having fun. If you are angry while you are learning something or doing something with your group. You are going to get very frustrated and just even more mad than you are. If you are sad about something and try and do the activity with your group you might get frustrated and cry. If you are doing an activity and are in a situation like this, get a friend or a teacher, and try to calm down your problems. By then, you should be very happy. You have to be happy to have fun!

To have fun, you have to be happy. To be happy, you have to have other people to support you - like your friends and your teachers. If you had no friends and no teachers to look up to, you would not be very happy! I think you would be a lot happier if you had friends and teachers (like me and many other kids). Now that you have your friends and now that you are happy, well, what’s next? F-U-N! The way to have fun is to “NOT WORK BY YOURSELF!” Work with your group and make new friends. You are very likely to have a ton of

FUN!

My main point is that there is no way to have fun unless you try to have fun. If you don’t try then you will be bored mad! I don’t have a lot to say but, I can say that “Sargent Camp” was a blast!
