Friendship by Hadley

“You guys, I need to take a picture before we get on the bus.” All of the yelling and screaming didn’t stop too much. “Here we go,” said Chelsea. We got into order. Finally the picture was taken. We had one silly picture. We all screamed and went out into the lobby to go on the bus. First we had to make sure everybody was in the lobby. Finally we went. Two hours later! We got to S.G.T. camp. To get to our cabin was a 5 min. walk from the bus to our 40 person cabin (4 other girls were in a different cabin than us but the rest were in the cabin that I was in!). On our way to our cabin Chelsea was having difficulties carrying her bag. I helped her carry her bag! “Let’s go!” we said and we were off as quick as a flash. And there we were. We were friends!

The next day somebody came up to me and said, “Can you be my friend?” I said, “Sure, but not right this second because my group is in the middle of a game!” That person was actually showing that she wanted to be friends with me! Another thing about friendship is the ropes course. When Laura was showing that she was my friend by encouraging me and making me not afraid.

To make friendship you have to be nice to other people so that they will be able to work with you at Sargent camp. Sometimes we can’t always have friends because somebody might not want to be your friend at Sargent camp. Sometimes that’s okay. But we try to have friends all of the time when we want to have friends. We also want to be nice to somebody at Sargent Camp that may not be your best friend. But to have a friend we need to respect everyone including your group leader because you have to make friends with them and have some kind of friendship! My whole point is that we always need friends to make other people have fun at Sargent camp.

The fun I had at Sargent camp. Now I was going back to school and then I would have to find my bags. ** Two hours later we finally got back to the school. It took me about a half an hour to find my bag and my mom with it. I told my mom about everything I had done including the fun ropes course. I also told my mom about the person that wanted to be my friend and that was a person that wanted to be a friend with me. My mom hugged me and we got into the car.
