Teamwork by Lily

At Sgt. camp, I learned lots of things. I learned about nature, the constellations, and about animal habitats. But the best thing that I learned was teamwork. Teamwork is like a system. Parts that work together. Teamwork will always help me. The ropes course, the cables, the nitro pit - there are so many activities at Sargent Camp that include teamwork!

Lots of things in life involve teamwork. Sports, like soccer, and baseball include teamwork. Firefighters have to be compatible in order to stop a fire. Doctors and nurses try to make someone well. Teamwork is everywhere!

Examples of teamwork at Sgt. Camp are: the ropes course, the cables, the wobbly woozy ... just about everything! Teamwork is very important to Sgt. Camp. It is like the whipped topping on an ice cream sundae there. King Teamwork rules Kingdom Sgt. Camp!

One time I felt supported by teamwork was at SGT. camp. I was on the ropes course. I was climbing up a rope ladder that was being pushed back and forth by the fall wind. I looked down at the bright autumn covered ground and felt that I could not make my way to the top. Then I looked again and felt the most amazing feeling. It was not from being about 32 feet off the ground, but the feeling was caused by all those people cheering for me. “You can do it!” New energy came to my legs and arms, and I reached the top.

Teamwork is one of the most important things in every person’s life. People are everywhere, using teamwork to help other people. Teamwork is made up from many different things: 1. Trust 2. Understanding 3. Participation 4. Listening 5. Co-operation. These things make up teamwork! Beeeeee compatible!
